Identity Digital to Manage .ai Domains
Identity Digital has signed an agreement with the Government of Anguilla to provide registry services for .ai domain registrations. As a result, .ai domains will be transitioned to the Identity Digital registry platform on January 15, 2025.
Scheduled Maintenance
To facilitate this transition, scheduled maintenance is planned for Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, from 18:00 to 21:30 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). During this time, Identity Digital will import the .ai top-level domain (TLD) and its sub-zones (.com.ai, .net.ai, .org.ai) into their platform.
If your .ai domain name is expiring soon, please renew it promptly to avoid any interruption in service. After the transition on January 15th, 2025, expired .ai domains will require a restoration fee to be reactivated.
What to Expect
1. Maintenance Duration: The maintenance is expected to last up to 3.5 hours.
2. No Impact on DNS Resolution: Your ..ai domain's DNS resolution will not be affected during this maintenance.
3. Temporary Service Interruption: While the maintenance is underway, some registry services may be temporarily unavailable (registrant contact update, DNS update, etc.)
