Company will retain its main brand TLD.
The world's second-largest chocolate producer is letting ICANN eat two of its three top level domain names.
Ferrero Trading informed ICANN that it wants to terminate its .kinder and .rocher top level domain names.
Kinder is the company's brand famous for chocolate eggs with a toy inside. (In the U.S., the toys are packaged outside of the eggs due to choking concerns.)
Rocher is the Ferrero brand best known for its chocolate and hazelnut confection.
Ferrero applied for these two domains as dot-brands, and they have only been used by the company.
The company is not canceling its .ferrero top level domain. That TLD is lightly used; Google has only captured the obligatory .nic.ferrero page and forward.ferrero.
