Here are some domains end users bought at Sedo this week.
Very few of this week's Sedo sales have developed sites or public Whois information, so I was only able to uncover a handful of end user sales.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of rebate.com and rebates.com, which I wrote about last week. The domains sold for $500,000 each, which is the same price they sold for in 2007. The plural version currently forwards to a page about a web3 rebates program. That page has been there for a while and it's not clear if the buyer perhaps bought this domain over time and created that holding page.
A rare single letter domain sale tops the end user chart.
Here's a list of end user domain name sales that just completed at Sedo for which I could determine a buyer. You can view previous lists like this here.
A .game $40,888 - This one letter domain name resolves to an online gambling site.
a2o.com $12,500 - a2o Developers is a real estate development firm.
Orbit.ca $8,000 - Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan. I can't find any connection to the word "orbit", so this might be for something new.
Maximizer.io $7,500 - Fanbase GmbH is a link-in-bio tool. I'm not sure what it bought this domain for.
GoodDayGroup.com $4,999 - This domain forwards to goodday.group. I'm not entirely sure what this company does but it owns several similar domains.
Godsil.com $4,800 - The buyer added a fancy landing page and says it's coming soon.
AtHome.at EURO 4,000 - at home Immobilien-GmbH is a real estate company in Austria. If I've found the right one, it currently uses the domain at-home.co.at.
MsClean.com EURO 3,050 - Ms Clean USA LLC in New York bought this domain. The domain forwards to msclean.pl, a home cleaning service in Poland. Maybe it's getting ready to expand?
