Here's a look at what sold for mucho dinero on NameJet and SnapNames last month.
NameJet and SnapNames, both owned by Newfold Digital, combined to sell 156 domain names for $2,000 or more last month. Those domains totaled $835,000 in sales, which is a rather strong number compared to usual.
XEM.com led the list at $51,801. Here are some other names that stood out to me:
FastQuote.com $25,055 - What a brand! Many companies use this name for lending, insurance, equities, purchasing, etc.
CrystalSprings.com $15,700 - A bottled water company uses the hyphenated version of this domain. It's also the name of some subdivisions and apartment complexes.
Expiration.com $15,506 - What better place to buy this domain than an expired domain marketplace?
Forward.org $9,138 - So many companies and non-profits use this brand. It makes sense that it sold for this much.
EducationOnline.com $8,752 - Education has moved online during the pandemic.
UControl.com $5,805 and YouControl.com $2,206 - Owning both of these names would be critical to a company that chose the first name.
Muchachos.com $4,001 - This is Spanish for "guys."
