A “star” led last month’s sales.
Newfold Digital’s expired domain name platforms (NameJet and SnapNames) had a relatively slow month for sales last month, at least as far as sales over $2,000 are concerned.
The platforms combined to sell 58 domains over $2,000 for a total of $247,000.
Here are some sales that stand out to me:
Hoku.com $17,730 – Hoku is Hawaiian for star. The top search results for this name are a singer, but many businesses in Hawaii use this name.
Kili.com $17,100 – This domain has meaning in Hawaii, to Tolkien fans, and to a data labeling company.
iMark.com $7,250 – i-domains have lost some of their luster, but this is a good one. A software business previously used it.
Espinoza.com $6,951 – This is a common surname.
TopRealty.com $5,515 – This is a “top” domain despite coming upheaval in the residential real estate brokerage business in the U.S.
RoofingSystems.com $3,122 – This is a huge, high-dollar market.
MetalStamping.com $3,113 – Another big market.
